Travel Soccer now known as the Club Soccer Program

As of January 2019, FMSC Travel Soccer will now be known as FMSC Club Soccer. While our teams play all year round, we don’t travel to tournaments outside of Central and Western New York. Club soccer will still be in addition to the recreation program. However, the Executive Board of FMSC felt that the name “Club” rather than “Travel” better represents our program to the community. We also wanted to avoid some of the confusion about tryouts that happened last year. We hope that early communication of dates and expectations will facilitate that goal.

Tryout Dates for the 2019-2020 Season:

Tryouts will be held on the following dates: June 17th-19th and June 24th-26th. Players will be expected to attend two tryout sessions, one session will be the 17th-19th, and one session will be the 24th-26th. Paul Allsop, the FMSC Director of Coaching, will be in charge of leading the tryouts. Specific dates and times will be assigned to age groups once the Spring CNYJSA league schedule is released in order to not conflict with games.

Tryout Registration Opens: The registration portal on the FM Soccer website will open February 1st, 2019.

Tryout Registration Closes: The registration portal on the FM Soccer website will close after March 31st, 2019. Please note, the FMSC does reserve the right to reopen registration if necessary.

Tryout Fee: 25 dollars (All current club players have been credited the 25 fee from the 2018 tryouts.)

Age Groups: For 2019-2020 season, the main birth years are 2008, 2009 & 2010
